This video shows you Twerhau (thwart-strike / torque-strike), which is a high horizontal strike. Done properly, the German fencer happens to move according to the principal of True Time advocated by Master George Silver (1599) of the English Tradition.

The five Master Strikes were/are also called Secret Strikes. If used correctly, these strikes combine offense and defense in one single move. These were advocated by German fencing masters of the Liechtenauer Lineage because they could end the fight immediately.
